Gordon drops 24 against the Bucks

8 10 2009

With a game riddled with fouls (68 total)  pistons pull out a win with a score of 113-104.  Gordon, Bynum and Stuckey combined for 68 points, with Ben Gordon leading the way with 24.  Coach Kuester was happy with the combination,  since it allows him to rest Hamilton and Prince. A new combo that coach Kuester is tryin is running Will Bynum and Ben Gordon in the back court and Rodney Stuckey at SF in which Stuckey stated “I’m not worried about guarding bigger people – I can handle myself out there.”  When it was all said and done the pistons shot 55% from the field and 54% from three,  with 21 fastbreak points the only downfall was the 20 turnovers but still a great win for the pistons. Great win Against Miami

7 10 2009

great game against Miami (that i attended), by the looks of it ben Wallace is just as hungry as he was before snagging rebounds, put backs and try to get his hands on every loose ball, but all an all great game with will Bynum as the leading scoring 15 pts 2 reb and 2 ast.  just so everyone knows i was involved with the palace patrol that night for everyone that was there it was me who was spinning with the bat and made the lay-up first and my boy Travis had to out shine me with a flashy cheauncy billup type lay-up but its all good see y’all at the next game.

Rookies Fighting for Time

3 10 2009

The Pistons could have a solid 10 man rotation with Rodney Stuckey and Will Bynum at point guard. Rip Hamilton and Ben Gordon at shooting guard. Tayshaun Prince at small forward, Charlie Villanueva and Jason Maxiell at power forward. Kwame Brown and Chris Wilcox at center. And both power positions backed by Ben Wallace. That dont leave much room for the rookies but The reality is the rookies will be auditioning not just in preseason games, but in every practice from now throughout the regular season, to fill whatever need the Pistons might have beyond what their 10 veterans ahead of them can supply. Kuester said all three will get opportunities to play during preseason games and that minutes distribution hasnt been discuss yet. Rookies Time

Will Bynum Makes John Kuester Look His Way

3 10 2009

After the proformence Will Bynum had averaging 11.8 points in the four-game series against Cleveland, shoting 46 percent (18-of-39) Kuester went to find Bynum to acknowledge the work he did. This season Coach Kuester still wants Bynum to be that “spark plug” type of player off the bench who can change the flow of a game, A person that’s not going to sit and let the offense come to him but he’ll attack offensively and defensively.  Bynum & Kuester
